As CEO of Heartbeat Experts, Jonah Meyers directs the global executive management team and drives the evolution and development of Heartbeat Experts’ consulting, software and data solutions. With 15 years of thought leadership in the industry, he has grown Heartbeat Experts into a global consulting firm with ten offices worldwide, and over 100 clients. Throughout his career, Jonah has worked closely with industry-leading clients including Amgen, Lilly, Sanofi, GSK, BMS, Merck, UBS, Credit Suisse and HSBC. As he conceived, developed and designed Heartbeat Experts’ suite of software and consulting solutions, Jonah transformed the marketing business practices of these global clients. Jonah is dedicated to advancing Heartbeat Experts’ mission to develop and market products that help Heartbeat’s clients operate more efficiently and profitably.

Over the past ten years as a member of Heartbeat’s executive management team, Larry Cohen has been responsible for the development, methodology and sales of Heartbeat Experts’ stakeholder management solutions and presentation management software. Larry has consulted closely with Roche, Novartis, GSK, Merck, Boehringer Ingelheim, UBS, HSBC and Abbott, among others. Prior to his leadership role at Heartbeat, Larry pioneered a number of innovative communication techniques for the healthcare industry, including webcasting and other novel communication techniques to communicate with healthcare stakeholders. He was a Director for the National AIDS Treatment Advocacy Project, where he set up their New York headquarters, established their newsletter, and attended and reported from every major HIV conference and government committee. He was also awarded an AHCPR research grant to study the use of online tools for patient adherence, the first study of its kind. Larry’s track record attests to his reputation for partnering closely with clients to bring them practical and cost-effective solutions that respond efficiently to their business needs.

Koen Janssens is responsible for global delivery and client satisfaction for Heartbeat’s consulting services. Koen directs Heartbeat’s global team of consultants, ensuring the success of each consulting project through implementation of Heartbeat Experts’ best practices. As a member of the executive team, Koen is closely involved in setting company strategy and growth. Prior to joining Heartbeat Experts, Koen started with the Belgian company Compex over 12 years ago, moving to the United States from Belgium to open up a North American operation and working closely with pharmaceutical and chemical companies to implement tools for supply-chain management. After moving back to Belgium, Koen sat on the management team at Compex, later bought by Siemens, where he continued in management roles for projects and products.
Koen holds master’s degrees from the University of Ghent and the University of Science and Technology of Lille in Europe, and a management degree from the Vlerick Management School in Belgium.
Ted Theodoropoulos is Heartbeat’s Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for all finance and operations. Ted leads all of Heartbeat’s fundraising, M&A and banking relationships. Prior to joining Heartbeat, Ted spent six years at Geller and Company where he served as CFO for multi-national technology and pharmaceutical services companies. Ted has raised over 50 million dollars for various firms over the course of his career and has been involved with extensive M&A activities across the fields of technology and healthcare.
Ted holds a bachelor’s of science and a master’s of business administration in finance from St. John’s University.
Santosh Kumar is responsible for Heartbeat’s global software and data development efforts. Santosh manages staff on three continents, overseeing product architecture, coding and delivery, as well as all of Heartbeat’s data automation and acquisition efforts. He is a technology leader with over 12 years of experience developing and deploying CRM and compliance solutions for the life sciences industry. In his role at Heartbeat, Santosh is focused on delivering enterprise strength solutions using the latest and most advanced technologies. Prior to Heartbeat, Santosh served for seven years as a Development Manager for Cegedim Dendrite, where he deployed multi-million dollar global solutions for clients including, Pfizer, Sanofi and Altana.
Santosh holds a bachelor’s of engineering from the University of Pune.
Dan Mintz is responsible for leading and managing all of Heartbeat’s marketing activities globally. Dan has extensive pharmaceutical marketing experience with a focus on stakeholder management and market access solutions. At Heartbeat, Dan is responsible for strategic product marketing, lead generation, sales operations and sales recruiting. Dan’s client experience includes consulting engagements for GlaxoSmithKline, Abbott Laboratories, Sanofi and Pfizer, among others. Prior to joining Heartbeat, Dan worked at the litigation firm Gersowitz Libo and Korek, helping to manage their pharmaceutical litigation practice.
Dan holds a bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College.
Matthew Polletta is responsible for leading and managing Heartbeat’s U.S. sales and marketing activities across all products and services. Matthew has extensive experience delivering software and data solutions tailored to the life sciences industry and has worked on enterprise engagements for Sanofi, Johnson and Johnson, Eisai, Forest Labs and Merck. Prior to joining Heartbeat, Matthew acted as the Director of Sales for Online Advertising at Operative.
Matthew holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Albany.
Ben Gibbes is responsible for leading and managing Heartbeat’s EU sales and marketing activities across all products and services, working out of Heartbeat’s London Office. Ben has a wealth of experience implementing stakeholder management solutions for the life sciences industry and has led enterprise engagements for GlaxoSmithKline, Abbott Laboratories, Boeringer Ingleheim, Astellas and Hospira, among others. Prior to joining Heartbeat, Ben was a Global Account Director for Cable and Wireless.
Ben received a master’s in business administration from the University of Bradford and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Keele University.
Keren Priyadarshini is responsible for leading and managing Heartbeat’s AsiaPac sales and marketing activities across all products and services, working out of Heartbeat’s Singapore office. Throughout her career, Keren has led enterprise engagements across Asia and emerging markets, delivering analytics, software and market research solutions to life sciences companies. Prior to joining Heartbeat, Keren spent four years at GFK Health, where she directed their healthcare practice throughout Asia.
Keren holds a Ph.D. in business management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad’s Fellowship Program.
